Falling on the heels of changing the redhead scene in POTC, Disney will be closing Peter Pan’s Flight until January 2, 2018 to change the mermaid scene. Guests have been complaining that the mermaids are too scantily dressed and not appropriate for children.
When the ride opened the mermaids wore no tops and their hair covered the top half of the body. Disney later added shells to cover their bosom area.
Due to pressure from guests, the mermaid figures will soon have longer hair so nothing can be seen at all, just their tails.
Speaking of “tails”, this is a little tale we made up to make fun of the politically correct changes Disney makes that make us laugh.
