I found out today that Chef Mickey’s will be moving to another location inside the Contemporary Resort. This was not planned but due to a maintenance issue, it will be moved on July 28 and move back around August 13, 2017. Chef Mickey’s will move to the convention center area in the Contemporary.
Even though the location will change temporarily, your same favorite characters will still be there to entertain and meet you. Mickey, Minnie and the gang will be there to give hugs, autographs and take pictures with you during your meal. Disney will be reaching out in the next few days to those who have reservations during this time period.
The only negative to this news might be that fact that you won’t be able to watch the monorails pass through the resort building. As disappointing as this will be to some families, rest assured you can still go to the fourth floor and sit and watch them either before or after your meal at Chef Mickey’s!
