Disney has been making big purchases lately like 21st Century Fox and their previous ownership of Marvel and Star Wars. Disney has been expanding their parks around the world with the latest Shanghai Disney and now the talks of opening another Disney park in Japan.
We just heard news from a reliable source that Disney has been contacting Universal Studios to make a deal of some sort. Universal Studios was the first theme park to inherit Marvel before Disney made their purchase on the Marvel Company. With Disney owning Marvel now, it leaves Universal in a tight spot and their are certain contracts for the East and West coast to how they present Marvel in their territories.
Will Universal one day let go of their Marvel attractions in Marvel Super Hero Island or will Disney end up making a big purchase to solve the problem?
Stay tuned for our next update on how this can change Universal Studios outcome.
