“What are you going to do next?” the memorable ad campaign asked. “I’m going to Disneyland!” went the excited reply.
Of course, no one gets as excited about going to Disneyland as young kids. They get to play games, go on rides, and have a fantasy day with their favorite characters.
For one young boy, his visit created an especially sweet moment with some well-known characters. The video of the meetup is making the rounds on social media, and you’ll want to have some tissues nearby when you see it.

The little guy has floppy, dark hair and wears jeans and a t-shirt. He stands in front of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto as they interact with him. Pluto waves an ear to say hello to the boy. Then a woman comes behind the boy and introduces him to Mickey and Minnie. The woman moves to the background, where she demonstrates hand motions to Mickey and Minnie. The hand motions are sign language, and Minnie follows the instructions to sign the phrase “It’s nice to meet you” to the boy.
The boy is deaf. And what happens after the signed greeting is the moment that is melting the hearts of so many viewers: The boy walks up to Minnie and hugs her. Minnie returns the hug, cradling him with her big white paws while giving him a kiss on the head. Then the boy walks up to Mickey and gives him a hug, too.
